#BlogTour #Review ~ Just One Time by K.S.Hunter @Author_KSHunter @rararesources

The first novel by K.S. Hunter, the alter ego of an international bestselling author, whose identity will remain a secret.

Desire can have dire consequences

Two years ago, David Madden made a mistake that almost cost him his marriage. His wife, Alison, gave him another chance, but she has not forgotten, nor has she forgiven.

She is irresistible

Then David meets the alluring Nina at a theatre in London. When he loses his phone in the dark, she helps him find it, and by giving her his number he unwittingly invites her into his life.

What David initially views as an innocent flirt turns into a dangerous game of deception. His increasingly suspicious wife thinks something is up, and each lie he tells pushes them further apart.

She is insatiable

Nina pursues David relentlessly, following him to New York where she gives him an ultimatum: sleep with her, just one time, and then she’ll get out of his life forever; or she’ll ruin everything he holds dear.

She is unstoppable

Of course, once won’t be enough for Nina, and what David hoped would be the end is merely the beginning.

A modern-day Fatal Attraction, Just One Time is a steamy psychological thriller that will have you hooked from the first page and holding your breath until its shocking conclusion.

My Review

Oh wow! If you have ever done something that maybe you shouldn’t and it comes back to bite, this book may just scare the pants off you!

Written by a ‘well known author’ under a different name, if this is the calibre of the new genre I can only hope the original books by this mystery person are as good and will cross my path one day, who’s to say they haven’t already!

David is a bit of a numpty or otherwise know as a gullible man, he cheats on his wife in a drunken stupor, surely she will forgive him? Yeah right ok (gullible!) anyway life does move on for the sake of his family but Alison harbours a lot of anger.

David thinks if he keeps working hard as an estate agent with the prospect of climbing the ladder of promotion all will settle down.

You would think David would learn his lesson, but a trip to the theatre one evening and him innocently losing his phone somehow manages to lure him back to the flirting game when he meets Nina. He smiles, says thanks and goes home.

Then the text messages begin …. Alison is suspicious so he tries to cover up a situation which could easily have been avoided.

Just One Time turns into a deadly game of lust, power and a darkness that sucks you in. At first I felt sorry for Alison then figured she needed a backbone but maybe she was thinking of her daughter. David disgusted me at the outset but strange as it might seem even he gained some of my sympathy as the tension mounts. Nina is everyone’s worst nightmare .. sexy, alluring, innocent Nina!!

Be prepared for some saucy scenes and language, if that offends then this may not be for you but in context it’s believable. A fraught journey through hell is a way of describing Just One Time .. gripping from beginning to end, and that ending OMG, enough said.

This was a book that leaves a horrible taste in your mouth but I’m so glad I read it. Let’s have some more from this author please.
